L.L.Bean is preparing to open the first of five stores in China this month. The Beijing store in Solana Mall, which opens Sept. 27, will be operated through a joint venture with Youngone Corp of Seoul, South Korea, which manufactures outdoor sportswear, shoes and backpacks.
