China’s General Office of the State Council announced the official national holiday schedule for 2015 as follows:

New Year
  • January 1  – 3  (3 days in total)
  • January 4 (Sunday) is an official working day.
Spring Festival (Chinese New Year)
  • February 18 - 24 (7 days in total)
  • February 28 (Saturday)  and February 15 (Sunday) are official working days.
Tomb Sweeping Day
  • April 5 (Sunday)
  • Monday April 6th  is a compensated leave day.
Labor Day
  • May 1
  • The weekend of May 2 and May 3 is unaffected.
Dragon Boat Festival
  • June 20 (Saturday)
  • June 22 (Monday) is a compensated leave day
Mid-Autumn Festival
  • September 27
  • No compensated leave day due to proximity to National Holiday
National Holiday
  • October 1  – October 7 (7 days in total)
  • October 10 (Saturday) is an official working day
