China’s world-leading 5G technology will bring users faster and better Internet service, People’s Daily reported on Thursday.
The 5G technology tests began in 2016. Shanghai have started trial operations of the fast-speed Internet service which is expected to enter full commercial use in 2020. The country aims to speed up broadband coverage and bring down Internet rates. It’s clear that in 2018, China will accelerate its development of the 5G technological industry and integrate growth of 5G with its vertical industries so as to prepare for its large-scale application.
